Ok I know this is the hunting dog forum but didn’t know where else to post this. So my wife’s dog (not a hunting dog) needs an e collar. I used to have a remote one for my old duck dog years ago that no longer works. Here’s the question we really need a parameter collar but I would also like to be able to manually hit her with it when she keeps barking. Do the parameter collars have the option to zap them with a remote if needed? I don’t know much about the parameter collars but if she is running around inside the parameter barking her head off would we be able to make her stop with a remote. She is becoming a headache and we’re losing sleep and I know the neighbors are too more than likely. Just wondering if anyone on here has one or knows more about them than me.Anyone got any advice or brands would be appreciated.

Ain't nothing worse than a barking dog....NOTHING! Life is too short to listen to one bark all night.

That being said, I've never seen one that does both. Prolly have to set up the parameter deal first. They usually learn that quickly and won't test it much. Then get a Dogtra bark collar. I didn't want one that pushy foots around. I want a zero tolerance collar. I'm a no means no kinda guy. You make one single peep and get burnt to ground.

Don't waste your time with Pet Safe or any other brand you can get at Wal-Mart. Get a hunting dog collar.
