I’ve killed a trainload of deer in Zone 12 and only a handful would score bigger than Stealthy’s Coues deer.

Maybe shouldn’t shoot the first one on the corn pile😃

Yes, that’s exactly what it’s saying

it was a joke inferring that the whitetail bucks that I kill would be a record book IF it was a coues. That it would be the only way someone calling themselves mr4pt could get in the book.
also, it’s very naive of you to think I would kill a 150” whitetail.

I know a few official scorers who say that there really isn’t really a genetic difference in Coues and Whitetail. Coues are just a subspecies not different than Arkansas Whitetail and Kansas Whitetail. Many scorers say that the only reason that call them a different name is so that people who shoot little deer can feel good about it.

Then they know nothing about Coues, have never hunted them, etc., or they think they have a gullible audience to listen to them. Leaving out the word “Eastern” in comparing “Coues and Whitetail” says INCOMPETENCE.

It’s a damn fine deer and I enjoyed the whole thing. I’m going to get one myself in the next couple of years.
