Predator trapping setup - Critique

Will this set up work? Want to try to trap a coyote or something before the end of trapping this year. I have the SC #3, factory chain set up, a SC shock spring, homemade double stake swivel (3 links of chain, will attach crunch proof to the center link) and 2 24" 3/8 stakes (cut off some of my 30" water stakes and changed the top from a t to a nut) Im gonna change the swivels to crunch proof swivels.

Any suggestions on where to put the shock spring would be appreciated.

When i was trapping coyotes i ran 3 links of chain, swivel, spring, swivel. 3 links of chain, ( Live market) I wanted my spring to lay under my loose jaw

Now swivel, 3 link of #3 chain, swivel, 3 link of #3 chain. Cable stakes (stingray)

I tried your style spring, they were chewed on pretty hard, conners springs have a solid core so they cant get crunched up as bad.
