I think I found my answer in this article. Gonna try some myself if weather conditions cooperate - without expecting much. Rats are eating the seed and I have not had that good of luck with most year old seed anyway - so I am not going to try to save it until next year. Got to dump it somewhere.

Dove season is in.
Overseed a pasture for cattle and shoot birds.

 

Can go to your local co-op Store they can give you dates to plant.
Should b no problem.
We plant in fall Sept and refertlize and lime.
Most soils in ark need lime!!
Wheat can be sown broadcast on top of the ground with out tillage.
Wheat has gotten to costly for us we buy left over yard grass from walmart.
Cheaper and fewer for some reason like the grass in my yard better.Lol

You guys are correct. The old brain is failing me. Everywhere I got That I could put it out that is standing in water. That is why I couldn’t get it planted this fall- too wet.
