How do yall feel the barometric pressure affects fish activity and feeding. Just wondering your opinions on this matter.

Yes. I go by it, even though I'll still go fishing anyway. If the Pressure is under 30 and falling ( or steady ) they will bite. Over 30 they get lock jaw. Now, if you slow presentation down and fish deep you make pick up a few. I know crappie will become lazy and I have caught them just by dropping a jig down deep and let it sit. Some what like tight lining. Bass will do the same. As far as catfish, no effect. The rise of the river, especially if it is fresh cold water, they will not bite. Will bite on a fall. Like I have been told " Fish on a fall, hunt on a rise". I pay a lot attention to details. Same as the wind and the moon. I don't keep notes and guess I should. My boys here talk of these things. :twocents:

So, since everyone here so far believes that barometric pressure does matter...

What sites do yall use to find the barometric pressure and see whether it is rising or falling?

I got it on my phone. It's called Fish My Cast. It has a chart and also go to current weather it will tell what it is. Say like:

Pressure: 29.75
falling ( rising or steady )

Also, you can take a water bottle with 1/4 way filled with water. Set it outside and if it is sunken in the pressure is high, no change pressure is low. You just don't know the number though.
