I bought a CVA Optima V2 LR with the camo thumb hole stock, cerakote burnt bronze/Nitride 28" barrel, and mounted KonusPro 3-9x40 BDC on sale at Walmart for $320 a couple weeks ago. Exact same gun on Sportsmans right now is $619. I think you can find them in the $500s at other places though.

Boxes of bullets were $10 for powerbelts and some hollow points for $5/box. Cleaning supplies and accessories were 50-80% off.

Hopefully I can catch one of them deals, I've been meaning to buy a MZ for the last 5 years and havent yet 🤦‍♂️. Hard for me to justify $300-$500 for a gun I'll hunt with 2-3 times a year at most.

 

Our Walmart has very little in clearance offerings. I did better at Attwoods again this year. Muddy ladder stands for $50 and set of sticks for $20.

 

Our WM didn’t have any MZ stuff left to clearance. They were out by mid-October.

 

Boys, I checked the WM and found a CVA Optima Long Range Cerakote model with scope for $110 last night. They had some Traditions ML for $49.

If you're looking to upgrade your ML, go to Walmart and get one. If it's not in the case, have them check the back.

 

These two man muddy stands. Has anyone sat in them yet? They have to be more comfortable than the old cheapo ladder stands right?

 

Bought a muddy 2 man two years ago on clearance for like $50 from Walmart. Super comfortable!!! The slightly tilted back mesh type material chairs and the rail in front. If seen another on sale I’d by it in a heart beat. It’s my wife’s early season bow stand!

Got a new cell cam at Academy today for $38. Had all their clearance items marked off an additional 50%. It had a $77 green price tag on it and I scanned it and it rang up $38. Also got a Lews spinning combo (not hunting related, I know). It was regular $160 and got it for $44.

 

The wife and I got a couple of the Lews spinning rods for $44 ourselves. I also picked up a nomad suit hoodie and pants on clearance.

 

About all they have left at my walmarks is camo clothing.
I did buy a 54dollar pair of waterproof insulated britches for 17 bucks and a 30 dollar jacket for 9 bucks.

 

Yeah, now I need some triple 7 to go with my new ML and Powerbelts

 

Boys they were wheeling and dealing at the local Walmart today on clearance stuff. They were going full garage sale haggling on everything.
Don’t normally shoot muzzy broadheads but for $5/3 pack I might try a few. Thermacells for $12. $3 grunt calls for the kids. Permethrin spray for $4.

 

Found Tinks 69 for $2.09 a bottle at Walmart in St. Louis a few days ago.

I had to explain to the Walmart guy in Conway why there was so much of their “deer pee” still on the shelf. It’s junk. I’ve used synthetic twice and both times deer smelled it and ran like crazy.

Just put it in the synthetic bottle! I can’t taste the difference, I doubt the warden can.
