COC and you coulda blasted that front shoulder no worries. What’s you FOC? Surprised a Coues can stop an arrow.

I didn't hit front shoulder .... I really believe the arrow hit and deflected off the ribs and back - the video hints at that and would explain why I can shoot through a 200# KS whitetail but not a 90# Coues buck

the head was one blade a little bent but other than that, it looked fine

I’m sayin you could have intentionally aimed for the front shoulder with a COC on a #90lb deer. Broke him down. Probably wouldn’t have gotten the deflection from a rib either. Still got one helluva buck tho! I’m in the heavy arrow, heavy COC head camp.

I dunno if I'll hunt AZ again for them, I learned a lot and have a beautiful Coues for the wall

I won't strip them,mount will be full velvet

Ummmmm. Yes and no.

The guides were great, the outfit had some things that could have been better but I was there to hunt so overall a few little things did not bother me that much

But I had a 1/2 off hunt.

Thing is now I know a guy can do that hunt DIY
