Occasionally happens to me with the same kind of shells. I’m thinking it has something to do with the spring that goes back into the stock. Too much oil will collect dirt from the shells. Clean everything really well but use oil very sparingly.
There was a rash of 3.5 Browning A5’s that had this issue. There is a fix for it and Browning knows about it whether they act like they do when you call them or not.
I just bought an inertia-driven Benelli M2. I’m not impressed. It’s sleek and smooth handling but there is too much going on with that inertia driven mechanism. It’s already hung up a good bit and I am holding it right.
My Winchester Super X 3’s have been abused with 3.5’s and they are flawless. They have the recoil of a twenty and you don’t have to put this button and push that button to get a shell in the chamber or out of the mag tube.
I wish Browning would make a new Auto 5 versus this wannabe.
The issue was with extracting and the shell latch. I sprayed it good with CLP Breakfree and it seems to have fixed it. Must have been dry. Box came from Italy—probably sat in a container for 3 months.
The M2 was phenomenal this morning. It does not like the new Black Cloud but inhales Xpert and Drylock 2’s. The Kicks HF Full is deadly. The gun just fits.
Got rid of the A5 shortly after I started this thread and got a new SX4 and used it last evening of duck season with 0 flaws so far. Hope it stays that way
One should not have to HOLD a shotgun against his shoulder tight to make it function, the same with pistols that can't be used by shooting with the " limp wrist method " to make them cycle. I wouldn't have either...d2
Once I got rid of that new Black Cloud, all issues ended. This M2 loves Drylok and Xpert. That BC was almost as hot as Hypersonics were. Good break in shells.
I shot those cheap Fiochi’s all year and didn’t have any issues to speak of.
