I'm looking at getting a Viking. Anyone have one? Tell me how you like it or not.

I've got a 2014 model with about 3000 miles on it. It's been a good machine.
It was a little loud, but I improved that a lot with an exhaust silencer and some acoustic foam.
I added a clutch kit when I put 27 inch tires on it to improve power.
So far no repairs/problems. It's holding up well.[IMG]

What made you go with it over the other side X sides? Looking myself and I don’t know enough about any other them to differentiate between make and models. Bryant Polaris has the mid size Polaris 500 for $7,999. Thinking that sounds pretty good, but is there something I am overlooking?

I was looking at it and the Hondas. I like how this one drove and rode better. I'm sure there're all good.

Congrats nice ride! Ive looked at getting one but I'm too tight and can't seem to make myself pull the trigger. Ive leaned to the Hondas only because they don't use a belt drive system and from my understanding all the other models do I may be wrong. I've looked at the 500's but I think you can get a 750 for not a whole lot more. I'm not extremely hard on one. I just want it to perform and last forever.

I've been the same way for awhile now. Wanting one but not willing to spend the money. My wife's been after me to get one for two or three years now. What pushed me over the edge was when I took both my boys (ones nearly 3 and the other is 4) checking cams and putting out corn. Driving over trees and through ditches for two hours while reaching around them both to steer was just to much. I realized we had out grew a Honda rancher.

Your a lucky man I wish my wife would stay on me abt getting one. I have a 2003 Honda 450 ES only 2000 miles and it just keeps going no issues. I guess it'll go another 14 years.

I have one and love it!!! I studied all of them pretty hard before I pulled the trigger. Have had it for 2 years and not a single complaint.

I just noticed that your hood says Viking VI. Is that the 6 seater? Looks like the 3 seater in the pic.

  17. I like the Vikings. The ONLY thing I can suggest is to use low range if you're not planning on going over 15 mph. It will ease the load on the wet clutch. Other than that, have at it....they're fun and have a lot more utilitarian uses than some of the other SxS's do.

I really like mine. Great 4wd system. Wish the motor was a twin cylinder but the single cylinder is plenty powerful. It just isn’t as smooth as a twin.
