I am looking to but a receiver hitch carrier, to fit a 2 inch receiver. I want well made, but not "super-heavy duty" as it will be used on a Toyota RAV4, mostly for hauling gas cans, perhaps a generator, camping stuff, etc.

I am thinking something similar to the one below, but it doesn't have to be exactly like this:

If locally built, I could rattle-can prime and paint it myself. I live near Hot Springs, and am in Little Rock most every day, and occasionally Conway, too.

Can you tell me about your carrier? style? bottom (I want the mesh type bottom, not a bottom of 3-4 bars running across it.),
Approx. weight? I don't need one that weights a hundred pounds.

I can go you one better...check the RV section of your local Wally World, the one in Cabot has them for around $60

Yes, I noticed that one, but want one with an expanded metal (big mesh) floor/bottom.
