You might be right....but in my opinion, if you do go out; you'll have it pretty much to yourself.:fit::razz:
Funny John :skeptical:

I forgot about the bird watchers:fit:
I hope it doesn't screw it up, but you can bet I'll be out there to see:up:
It'll definately spread the birds out. My afternoon watering hole hot spot is about 750,000 acres now instead of a 1/4 acre...:smack:

:fit: I know what you mean!!! I imagine there will be more than one person get stuck in some bean field this weekend!!!:smack:
I wish it would have opened Monday.

What was the reasoning behind the non-labor day weekend opening? I can't remember it not opening that weekend. Could be wrong. I do know it shafted our spot for sure this year. :frown:
There were a BUNCH around on Monday morning...limited out by 6:45am.

I think we'll be all right.

I'm guessing you were hunting somewhere other than Arkansas.
just got back from hunting Texas. WE had five limits on Monday morning, and watched my wife shoot a case of shells for her limit throughout the day!

But she was there with me, she had fun, and I got to buy a new shotgun so we would have two when bird season comes around!

He was probably huning in Mo. it came in on this past weekend, Monday I believe.
There was a whole flock in my horse pen this AM...he's a sloppy eater and scatters grain everywhere!
Tennessee came in Monday also
Yep, I'll be hunting TN tommorrow, hoping it was far enough away not to affect much.

Ready to start my killing for the year :woohoo:
Just got a report from where I'll be hunting this weekend. The report said we still got doves :cool:

Yes. Missouri
It's definately gonna mess us up. The birds aren't here like they were last week.

Labor Day was on Sept. 1. In order for hunters to get in Sat. and Sun. hunting they had to either open the season Aug. 30 or Sept. 6. I think it was a pretty good decision even though the weather may mess us up. I may not even go this weekend. We had about 2" rain and I don't like slugging through gumbo mud!
