It's that time. Front office offered to Wood and I hope he stays with us. I like most of our moves this off-season but hated to lose Fowler. I will be at spring training so if anybody makes it to AZ, look me up.

Who's gonna play CF for you guys?

I figure Jay, Almora. Don't count out some our utility players. Madden likes to give guys days off. I hope Fowler does good for the Cards, just not against the Cubs. Do me a favor, don't make him a negative guy. He was always positive player for us.

    I'm tickled to have him.

I liked Jay. But he's just one of those 'steady players'. That's often enough, though.

I'm trying to figure out how we are going to get all these guys on the field. It looks like we have depth again this year.
Definitely have a target on our backs this year.

Here's to a little friendly banter and a fun season. If it makes any Card fans happy, I will have to wear a Card hat and jersey this year. Most painful uniform I have ever put on. Makes me want to go Chris Sale on it.

Buddy talked me into playing this year and the team name is Cardinals. They won't change it to the Cubs.

At least they are in the AL and won't have to see them until the WS. But there is a team in MO that will see them very soon... lol

I like it for the bats. I'm sure we will see this at some point during the season.

Almora and Jay will platoon in center. Schwarber and Zobrist in left, with Zobrist also playing 2B some. They're going to look at Schwarber in the leadoff spot as well as Zobrist too.

Maddon reported that Schwarber will catch this spring.

Heyward swing looks better this year.

Hope his extra work on tweaking it over the offseason pays off.

Nice to sit down and watch some baseball again. Also nice to hear that song at the end of the game again...

I love that song, heck I bought it and made it a ring tone. I watched a little bit of the game before my little brother wedding but plan on watching the Indian Cub game today. I'll be at Sloan on Friday...
