I started with ticket ticket ticket. Then sped up as fast as I could. Then I just kept playing around till it sounded close to what the birds I was listening to sounded. At this point I have no idea what I say I just make this tic and tuk noise as fast as I can.

Problem is....
Everyone wants to be "Fast" and sound cool...
Fast and cool don't kill ducks...
Build a proper spread, watch your ducks work, when you hit a note they don't like they will shy... Don't hit that note again...

Setting up properly will make you a better caller.
I am getting burnt out on the public waters hearing folks hammer on calls all morning only spooking ducks finishing with a sky bust...

I don't ever do the duga duga duga rolling feed call because it you listen to ducks flying high and traveling, that is what they are doing. I am normally not flying while I am duck hunting, so I stick to the clucks and the acorn feed call.

I know what you mean. What are you calling an acorn feed call?
Its the cook cook cook, pause, cook cook, pause, cook cook cook

Use the back of your tongue to cut off the air. It takes a lot of practice to roll the cooks together but sounds more like a duck on the water than a duck flying. I only use the rolling feed call on the stage.
