I have a Winchester Mod 74 .22 short that is in fair condition, still has blueing but no rear sight adjuster and the shine is completely gone off the stock, looks old... SN is 252xx, the lowest i can find online is 3XXXX:head:

Anybody know the year and value???

Cool. I did some more digging and have come to the conclusion that it was made in early 1939. Thanks for your input storyhunter
