I dropped one of my fish oil pills and my 8 year old female Rat Terrier ate it before i could get it. Is it harmful to her in any way.

    Thanks

I had a pit that ate a entire bottle once and she was fine. I doubt it will hurt her.

It should not be an issue. You may notice a soft stool for 48-72 hours but nothing more

My dogs take them twice a day to prevent skin issues. Getting there fish oil is the highlight of the day for them. It gives them a pretty shiny coat.

  6. nope. been giving them to my lab for years. I try to give it every day but sometimes I forget. suppose to be very good for their skin/coat.

Just make sure the dog doesn't give you kisses after they chew one up and make sure you don't break them before they get eaten. Some of the worst smelling stuff on the planet.

As a couple of posters have already stated, I know people that give them to thier dogs.
