I believe you can hunt them with a rifle in Texas and over corn!

You can hunt them with a rifle during the fall in Oklahoma.
In West Virginia, they use rifles in the spring. When I hunted there, I didnt dare take decoys. They have a lot more accidents because of it.

More hunter are injured and killed from falling out of Treestands each season than any Gun shots....... I'm sure there are some that would love to ban them to.... If you dont like it DONT USE IT...

Theres a big difference here. Deer hunting just about everyone is in a tree shooting down. turkey hunting, everyone is on the ground shooting at ground level. i am quite sure you would pee all over yourself when a rifle bullet whizzes by your head from a rifle

Gotta go, somehow someday...I'm not worrying about it, I watch where I am and KNOW what is around me .. So I'll let God worry for me ...And why cant you hunt for a turkey from a TreeStand ????
it can be done I know ....
Some people here must only hunt with a group or in a very confinded area ... on Public land I Personally go where I rarely even see another person....

Well for one it would extend my range tremendously and there is birds that walked because the 12 ga wouldn't reach them but the little 17HMR would have been an easy shot.Why is that
