After my trip last year I am hooked. We were not successful but had an amazing adventure and learned a lot. I thought I would take a year off but it looks like I am might have a chance of going again this year and I am going to take it. More than likely I will end up in Colorado.

    So who else is going?

Planning for a mule deer trip this year. Not sure what we're gonna do, but if it was in an OTC elk unti in CO we'd have to get a tag.

We would like to do a summer trip with the horses to recon an area we would then plan to hunt in the next year or two. Any good suggestions on a unit/area in Colorado for that sort of idea? This would combine our two hobbies and be a fun way to take a summer vacation with a bonus of scouting/learning an area for the future.

You may not have the freezer space after both of you get an Arkansas elk tag this year.

Doc won't let me Elk hunt.

If I can get a GoFundMe page going, I need another Six Large to go back to Plentywood, MT and muley hunt, though. Dang that was fun.

I had a doc tell me once he couldn't allow me to go on my elk hunt. I told him I wasn't asking permission, and left the next weekend.

    No.

That is the official name of the "Widowmaker Heart Attack". Less than 4% of the folks who have that, live through it. I am the luckiest man alive. That was July 14, 2004.

And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Devil didn't say the same exact thing.
