Which hunting method is less intrusive ?

Trapping is quiet, bothers no one, cept maybe dog hunters, but who cares about them.:biggrin: (that was a joke people)
I say we open trapping seasson on deer. I always wanted to snare one of them.
We could have a 990 conibear just for deer. Think of the possibilities~:thumb:

All jokes asside. This is politicly correct hogwash.
Nascar is noisy, and polutes the atmosphere. Do they appologize?
What about football? 1,000's of screaming fans, stadiums taking up space that could provide wildlife habitat.

I heard more Decibles (Screaming) at the Hannah Montana Movie I took my daughter to see last night than I have heard at any shooting range.

So I go out and shoot my rifle once to kill a deer.
If that is outlawed then I want these kids who drive by my house with Rap music blasting arrested, or better yet shot!

I appoligize for nothing. I'll hunt the way I choose, and I will never make as much noise as the rest of the world does.

I think point is not about the reason for hunting SH.
It's really about some that scream and cry cause they heard a dog bark and assume the dog scared the deer off when in reality they didnt have a snowballs chance in of killing one anyway.

It's about people that scream PUBLIC LAND is for all!!!!!and then turn around and get mad at others using it!!

There are some that won't be happy until everything THEY don't like is banned and then realize they lit the fuse on the bomb but didnt leave the area!!!!!!!!

So in my disgusted with whole ban this and ban that attitude I keep reading .........I just have decided to say it as I feel!!!!!!

I choose to deer hunt with firearms as my first choice; modern rifle/muzzle loader. When it comes to other choices such as archery for deer, I prefer to switch to firearms and hunt squirrels or as in the past Bob White Quail.

I still like to Rabbit hunt with a small gage shotgun. Other wise I like to reload rifle & pistol ammo and go to the shooting range. I like photography (23 credit hours in College) and I spend to much time on this computer. Sometime I go on all day hikes looking for deer sheds and scouting for turkey sign which I hunt with a shotgun. I just love the shooting (firearms) sport and I am a life member of the NRA. When I was a kid I shot a sling shot a lot and got pretty good with one.

Otherwise I don't have much to do except go fishing ever chance I get. Arkansas is a tough State to live in. :smack:

Let's don't worry about being intrusive, I think every one needs to respect
anybodies hobbies [ ie, hunting, fishing, biking, camping and so on] but the person usually doing what they do is blind to anything else. I am as guilty
as anybody, but i think we could all do a little bit better at this. When I go
to a wma and want to scout or hunt I try very hard not to interfere with
other peoples activities, I know some times that's hard. But some times when I am on my way to work or town I might drive up on a couple of people
or more riding bike's and they hold the lane I am in and want scoot over for
love of money. Now I drive a crane every day and it's 82' long, 10' wide and weighs 169000 lbs and travel's at 40-45 mph. now you know I am intrusive
to every body see, but I always pullover when ever posible to let every one around. So what I am getting at we all are intrusive at some point.We all need more patients and enjoy life and make it as pleasurable as posible.And we can start being respectful to others[ie not turning the dogs out if you know that it will interfere with some one stand hunting, or they trespass,
or not complaing when you lease or hunt ground next to a club that runs dogs
or not squirrel hunting where you know some one is bowhuntig]. Public land is public land period, but it is a lot more enjoyable with a little effort from
EVERY ONE. Now if someone is against hunting and don't want to hear about
it don't BRING IT UP PERIOD. Now I live in the country and I have few neighbors and I think one of my closest neighbors is against hunting. When I go get on my stand he can see me cross the feild now i own this land. So he will start working on everything he has [ chain saw, leaf blower and any thing to make racket] Have I ever said any thing to him? No, But has ever said anything to me? Yes, He don't like me shooting in the back yard so I say move
but not that nice. I have lived here for 22 years and he has lived there for 3-5 years. So my point is don't bother me and I want bother you.
