After putting my sons Christmas stuff together, I noticed that there was an awful lot made in China. Since I am in the looking stage for a new pistol, I have decided to by a good ol Made in USA pistol. Who is an American company and produces them here? Best bang for the buck?:flag:

There are several guns made here in america. Kimber as stated above, kel tecs are made in Florida if you are looking for a small pocket pistol. I think both SW and ruger have plants in America but I could be wrong about that. Taurus used to be but I think they are all made in Brazil now

If you want a really really nice heirloom gun look at Wilson Combat. They may be fancy but they are made to work. They hand make, from raw material, the world's finest 1911's in Berryville, AR. They make everthing in house including the frames and all the components. Made in the US? yes. Hand made in Arkansas? Heck yeah. But perfection carries a price, $2,000 is the cheapest gun they sell. The "Professional Model" is next on my list.
