Thinking about selling my fishing boat and upgrading to something a little nicer and would like to see what kind of prices would be paid for a rig like this.....havent totally decided whether I will sell and upgrade or not, depending on outcome of replies.

1998 Allweld 15', 44" bottom, 1998 trailer, 1998 electric start 25hp Mariner. Tires less than a month old, brand new spare (wheel and tire), two new batteries, new floor (including carpet on deck), brand new Minn Kota 40 Edge FCTM, motor just had carb rebuilt 2 weeks ago (runs like a top), two seats (boat has another seat mounting plate in middle of floor for pedestal seat). There has also been a 6" extension added to the front of the boat (professionally) out of diamond plate aluminum in order for the running lights to be mounted out of the way. (these things work excellent)

This boat is in EXCELLENT condition (NO DENTS)......the paint is just barely worn off places in the bottom of the boat.

The first three pics are before the floor and carpet added as well as the FCTM.

Hmm...with the increasing number of people wanting boats, especially flat bottoms, and all the stuff you listed, i would say around $2500-$3000 easy. I paid $5350 for mine but its a 1656 w/ Honda 20HP 4stroke and new trolling motor.

I'll raise TH bid to $2500
You'll have to get higher than that....I have more than that in it. But dont get me wrong sometimes you dont get your money back out of things from what you put in it. Thats why I have it listed as it is....might just have to keep it a while longer.

New batteries approx $80ea = $160
New spare tire and wheel(with bracket) = $100
New FCTM approx $400
New tires approx $140
Carb rebuild $254
Flooring/Carpet $100

Just these things total almost $1200

I dont know a whole lot about marine motors...but the local marine shop that performed the carb rebuild told me he has a list a mile long of people wanting this motor.......

Come on....there must be some other people interested.

I'm seriously thinking about selling....just found out my wife and I will be relocating again!! :smack:
Dang RJ, Where you headed now?
I'd love to have a boat like that but I'm probably at least two years from one right now.
Heck, I'm still sick about the deal I missed on a 1542 War Eagle a couple of years ago. Tried to buy my cousin's that he never used. He told me he'd take something like $3000 or $3500 for it which was a little more than I was hoping for and he didn't take my offer of $2500. Then the idiot sold it less than a month later for $2000 bucks. :smack:
Note to bidders: The War Eagle was older and not in as good of a setup as this one. Bid away and help my fellow squirrel hunter out.

BTW, that looked like one serious squirrel dog in that last picture.

Hey now! I edited my post to make sure folks know RJ's boat is worth more than that. Though I'd sure give him $2550 for it!
The War Eagle i mentioned had nice sized dent in it and wasn't set up near as nice. Not to mention it was also a little older at the time and boats were far cheaper when it was purchased new back in the early/mid 90's.
Heck, I'd probably be interested in RJ's boat if I wasn't already committed to buying a 4-wheeler from my neighbor. Hard to pass up his Grizzly 660 for $1500 though.
