I couldn't help you out, cause I have never used one before, but you came to the right place, almost everyone on here has an opinion about one thing or the other.
Check this site out www.chasingame.com/ tells all about game camera:thumb:
Go to hagshouse.com and learn to build your own or buy one from a member there. They are far better than store bought ones. If it doesn't have a real camera in it (Sony, Olympus, etc.), then don't buy it. Just my opion of course.
Cuddeback gets my vote. I've taken tens of thousands of pictures with mine.
I've had good results with my $98 Moultrie 4.0 from Wally World.

 I've taken thousands of pictures with mine. They get hungry for batteries when its cold though.
I have moultre and cuddeback. The Cuddeback pays for itself in battery life. The moutre like to broke me buying batteries. They both take great pictures.
My Moultrie's batteries will last 6 weeks in warm weather--10 days in winter.
$ for $ either buy a homemaid one or build it!

X2

I built one with a Sony Cybershot DSC-P32 for about $200 that takes great pictures and the build was super easy.

I bought 3 more controller boards about a month ago but haven't got around to build anymore cameras yet. I have everything I need for one build but have had the time to put it together. The next one on the list is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W90 with 8.1 MP. It is going to be a little harder to build (soldering to the camera) but I will only have $225 in it. I will have it set up so that you can look at the pictures on the view finder while the camera is still in the case.

Another good thing about homebrews, atleast the way I build mine, is that you can take the camera out of the case and use it like a normal digital camera. All you have to do is unplug the phone cable.
fredbear, if you've done built one and got the boards to build three more, why don't you just give me your old one.

I have have to build and compare so I can see which I like the best. Then I MIGHT get rid of one....but it won't be cheap.

BTW don't tell my wife I bought 3 more.....I don't think she knows yet.
