    I have been in several beef plants , and I still love
    GOOD beef I like it all porterhouse , ribeye and fillets . Ribeye used to be my favorite but lately been on a fillet kick .

    Deer tenderloin wrapped in bacon is steak around here. Can’t afford real steak! Ribeye for me and a filet for the old lady on our anniversary. Steak is something we never eat out. If we’re going to have them, we have them at home. Too expensive to have some jackleg ruin it.

    What in the crap are you talking about? We all know you are a crazy old coot, but putting slits in it only allows it to cook flat and actually add more flavor.

  16. I like the texture of it. A good one has enough fat that it has a lot of flavor.

    I'll back you on this. A good, like prime grade, strip is very good. More beefy than a ribeye.

    I still choose ribeye, but a strip is second.

    Can't Beat Chicken Fried Steak covered in white Gravy and Mashed potatoes..Can't beat it....
