It is gone. Shallow drive is worthless, and the holes are like ponds.

Saw a lot of people parked at the Temple Island access this past weekend.

Went to Longbell and saw nothing but deer tracks everywhere. Free reign of the levee for them this season.

I just talked to game and fish and they said the BS about letting water out of upper to flood lower was not true. This isn't even possible. :smack: Lower has to flood first then the water will go into upper. The only way we are going to have any water is if the heavens open up and pour a record amount water on us in the next few weeks.

What you are saying is true except in the event that the water gets up in lower, floods into upper, they close the gates......time goes by, water falls outta lower, gates get opened and water flows from upper back into lower....and that is what happened, I saw it myself:skeptical:

Well, I'm going down there this weekend. Is there enough water to launch in upper then?

Yea I'm with you that would make sense. What I'm saying is that upper will never be flooded if lower isn't.

You can launch, just not many ducks at all.

I think you can launch, and I think theres just enough water to put out your decoy spread in the ditch.
