I'm planning on trapping some turtles this year and was wondering if and how to sell them. Just curious how easy it is to get rid of them after I catch them and how much do they sell for? Thanks for your help.

Check with these guys too. I think you may have to have a special license to catch and sell turtles.

My dad use to cook it when I was a kid. It was good. He liked the logger head(alligator snapping) turtles. I believe it is illegal the catch and kill them now tho.

Hi I'm orriganlly from Grand Saline Texas and I use to trap and sale turtles with my dad. I moved to Arkansas and found out I could trap here if I had a license and harvesting license. So I wanted to try it here. Is there anyone else I could sale my turtles too that is closer to malvern , ar other than Mccrory, at? Or would Marcus Blach come two hours away to buy my turtles? Oh man I didn't realize you could kill them.. Last week we saw a HUGE one dead in the road and a week later we saw another one in a pasture. The sucker had to have weight 20 lbs. I wished I had taken some pics.. The turtle had to have at least been 30 inches round.

Got pork, if you catch big softshells you can cook them also, just clean him and tenderize the meat and flour and fry.
