Made a meat run for my in-laws tonight, went after her just a touch too soon and the jack russell jumped her and bayed her in the river! Got to where I could shoot her again and current took her down stream! Didn’t even think about it, took my jacket, phone out my pocket and rangefinder of my neck and dove in head first after her!!! Finally caught up to her about 50 yards downstream and managed to drag her up on the bank!!
