How much difference in range is there between the longer antenna that comes on the collar and the shorter one that comes with it? Dog can get to the tip of the antenna that comes on it. I’ve had him wearing it when he’s loose in the yard with me the last few days and he grabs at it when he gets bored. Doubt he will in the woods, but I don’t want to take a chance.

Not much difference from what I've seen on the beagles.

I don't think the chewed up ends effect them any, I see the other dogs in the box chewing on them more than the dogs wearing them. We have over 20 -T5 & T15's, and not a antenna that hasn't been chewed on. As far as the short ones, we have never used them, always the long ones, but all we hunt are the ouachita mtns.

Sounds good. I think I’ll swap it out just he will quit messing with it. He’s still young and doesn’t need any extra distractions at all.
