It will be dependant on how much rain falls in the upper White River as weather it will be a factor or not. Was going to going down this weekend but had to much work around the house.
Trusten Holder
Has anyone ever hunted Trusten Holder? Do I need to watch out for water levels this year?

I hunt it quite a bit and have never had a problem with the water in the fall/winter. It may get high around some of the sloughs, but you will be fine in most areas. Oh, found out this weekend that I got drawn for the ML hunt too! wooo hooo! :up:
Everyone in my group drew Trusten for ML. We are trying to choose a date to go scouting. Maybe our paths will cross this year. Good luck. How bad are the mosquitos?

Here's a tip for you. AA knows about the place so you have to beat him there. Go down the road until you get to the big deer crossing. Hop out and walk about 20 yards into the woods. There you will see about 5 acres of nothing but sawtooth acorns. Good luck!

Doesn't need a sign. Even AA found it. Any deer hunter worth his salt can find that one with 2 years of scouting. However this one really exists and I posted pics of it on here last year with a shed I found. The other hot spot well I've got to keep it to myself. However I have been known to be bribed with a good bowl of chili and a coke. JD knows more places and is the man to know for hunting there. (Jerry Dean)

Archer , he is looking for a good spot to hunt. We need to be his mentor for TH. All he has to do is stick with us and we'll put him on the best stand since he is new. :fit:

I'll thank you for putting me in that spot when I kill the big one.
