I am wanting to build a tripod corn feeder out of a 55 gallon metal drum any plans or pics of yours for ideas would be great to look at for ideas.

Mine is plastic, but the concept is the same. These are metal poles from a old canvas carport, but I also use metal street sign poles. Most cities will give you a few of the round street sign poles free.

This is an older pic of my feeder and have made one modification to it since this time. I added a metal tube in place of the PVC but if you don't have problems with pigs the PVC is fine.

    (1) 55 gal drum $8
    (1) leg bracker kit $25 (if you can weld these would be easy to make)
    (3) T-Posts $18
PVC pipe - free (found in a garbage pile in a subdivision)

We've got 3 made like this and ran about $50 a piece to make.
