do you think its worth a try to rattle/grunt a deer in this late ?

I also wonder if doe estrous scent would do any good if there are still a few that havent been bred ?

I don't think I would. If most have been bred or bucks are stop chasing then it may spook them. Just my opinion.. I would just set up on food source and close to bedding areas. Now, grunting, not aggressively, may lure a buck in. Then again it may spook does in which spook bucks. I wouldn't, but I am no expert like some of these guys.

  3. I'm no expert but I have stopped rattling. I do grunt SOFTLY from time to time thou

  4. as far as does in heat go, there will be a few more weeks in the mississippi flood plains but the rest of the state should be done. west side ive seen some loosing horns, but east side still chasing some.

I've seen alot of deer running from hunters that were trying to rattle in a buck. You need the right time, right conditions, and right buck/doe ratio.
