I'm looking at buying a new rifle this year and was wondering if anyone had any info on the Tikka T3?

I have a T3 lite, 7mm with leupold scope. One of the best investments I have made. It is extemely light and a tack driver right out of the box.

I'll say I've never shot a Tikka, but I want to! Never, ever heard a discouraging word about them.

I've got a T-3 Hunter in 25/06 and my SIL has a T-3 Lite in 270. Best shoot'en and slickest actioned guns right out of the box I've ever seen.

Sako makes them so they're pretty much a cheaper line of the sako. Have never heard a gripe about them, only good things like good quality and accuracy. I try one out if I wasn't too full right now. I'd go for it!

Thanks for everything guys!!!! For some reason a thompson center pro hunter has jumped in the mix:smack: I know i probably couldnt go wrong with either one!!! Whats yall's thoughts pros cons for the pro hunter vs. T3?:doh:

Also in .308. HAd they had one in 7mm-08, it would have been sitting in my gun safe right now! I would love to get one in 7mm-08 next year.
