Sure is pretty with the ground covered white. Would be a shame to paint it red! That next doe tag is burning a hole in my pocket. Just might have to do something about it. The birds are really enjoying the corn and the tracks tell me the deer have been helping themselves to the corn and sweet potatoes. I'm a waiting!

Didn't see anything, but I heard a bunch of kids sledding a couple hundred yards from my stand:banghead::banghead: They had already driven right past the stand before I got there.

I hunted Wattensaw today, deer moved early, right at daylight my buddy killed a big doe. Didn't see anything in the afternoon at all, I guess they will move after dark.

I went to cold springs this morning, jumped up a nice buck and couple doe about 8am but couldn't get in close enough to them to get a shot off.

Went and checked my feeders this afternoon and could not believe the deer, coon and turkey tracks. As for the sleding, I did and about killed myself trying to "show" my kids how to do it.

I went out Winona lake today. Got there about 1pm and drove around until
3pm before going to my ground blind.
There were only a few tracks along the 20 miles of road I drove over.
On my way to the blind I saw the tracks of 3 deer. I decided to just hunt this trail, because there were just not very tracks.

I did not see anything from the blind.

I could not believe how little movement the deer have done since the snow fall.

    They just have not moved.

Nice buck. I have one tag left and hope to get it filled before long.

Nice buck.. I learned to stalk the deer Chen it snows. Works surprisingly well. A grind from Michigan took me on a stalk in the snow all we did was follow fresh tracks and killed two bucks that day.. If you get cold CBC bored give it a try... Just keep the wind in mind.. Goodluck. Dt150
