Saw this in the parking lot when we walked out of Ed Gordon this morning. They were 100' from the trucks with the boat on the bank shining away and two spinners spinning:head::head:

My phone couldnt zoom very well. The hunters are on the left. I circled the spinners and the boat too.

I grew up in cord and hunted the black river bottoms a lot. If I do any duck hunting around there we usually drive to bayou deview or a field in fair oaks. Do you?
  8. Hey, turn that radio down we're trying to hunt over here..

my question is why do they have a trailer isn't that a natural area where you can't have outboards?

I would think those high line wires would make it hard for ducks to work that parking lot anyway, although I have to say that is the least of their worries.

Believe me, that 500KV line will not affect the way ducks work............and odds are that a shot from a 3 1/2 12ga is not gonna bring down that bundled conductor....

you can have outboards out there... I have no idea why you would want to though, if someone did make it past that stump row with a boat, you couldnt make it much further than what they did.

    Point of Information:
Is the boat parked on the other side of the fence, like 20 feet from the trailor?

I bet they had a hell of a time loading a boat back on the trailor in that mess.

Its hard to see but the oval circle right behind the trailer was the boat.

but then again, that may be the only open piece of water up there that didn't already have decoys on it.
