Who's going to be the first to post in the new year of their 2023 catch? I'll vote for Dartonmav, or it could be one of the many crappie gurus.

Grandson this evening! Short trip and he had an 11 and an 8 and I had an 8’ 6” total of 9! All these Hybrids I release now because I don’t feel like cleaning them anymore! Oh and 1 big Walleye!

the cats were biting good again yesterday. Was gonna go back after church today but hit what i believe was a submerged steel bouy on the way back to the ramp so that ain't gonna happen. Luckily made it the 5 miles bacjto ramp before we sank. Gonna get it patched and get back in business.

I like the way you cut the tails off to let them bleed out 👍🏼 Ouch gonna take more than a hot glue stick to patch it up, if your on the water much thing’s going to happen.

9 1/2 lb on rod and reel! Lines haven't been producing like I planned, guess we got em set in too swift of water. Going this afternoon to try it again with the rod and reel!

Ordinary he wouldn't of saw the sunset, but I tossed him in there. Maybe I can get 1 or 2 more to go with him today. Regardless he won't see sunset tonight.

I thought it was. A couple of your pictures looked like general area's I had fished years ago. Except.....I didn't pull out any big hybrid stripers like that....:)

Wow, lucky you didn’t sink it. That’s a perfect reason why people shouldn’t use anything steel like T post or pipe in the water for a tie off.
