Let me state I am not a crappie fisherman. If I catch one it's just the fish's bad luck, but today I found a few in the top of a couple of trees. Trees were in 78' of water and the tops were in 40 to 50 ft. Smallest weighted 1 lb 10 and the largest was 2 lb 15 oz. I was more than happy. Oh and I caught this ugly bass too. I see alot of bass on the big pond blotched up like that bass. Wonder what causes it?
