Boys I have to apologize, having this much fun when I should be deer hunting should be illegal. Now I can’t even think about deer hunting and I really wanted to fill one more tag. @jackie53 is it really legal to have this much fun? Does it get better when I retire cause I can’t stand this! My heart can’t take it! I told the wife catching a nice smally was better than sex. She said having sex with me was like catching a smally. I said huh, damn woman, never mind? But that’s another story. But hey !!! You boys want a good fight , tie on to one of these in current! You’ll think it’s a 9 lb largemouth .. I promise.

Today was really slow and cold. Wind changed directions at least 5 times through out the day but was able to get Honeybun and I a decent meal. Even saw my crappie mentor Ol @OFD out there running my honey holes. I think he scratched out a decent meal as well.

Slippin and Slabbin in 28 degrees. Flipped a 2 lber over the rails in mommas lap with that 16’ K-Rod Huckabee. She told me I was a bad boy.

I can see I'm going to have to head over to the redneck side of the Mississippi river and see if I can't boat flip me one of those 3 lbers. Maybe my hands won't look so big. But in all honesty I have really big hands, Doc said one in million have hands like that and couple that with a tiny head. I've been insecure about it all my life, thanks for reminding me.

Went bass fishing at a city lake today due to wind and saw a few crappie so just happen to have a jig rod.
