Well i finally put a deer on the ground but unfortunately it was with a rifle. Had the bow in the blind with me but i didn’t think I’d be able to get turned in the chair and drawn back without being busted. So i stole dads rifle and put a doe down with the 308. Guess i could have cheated and took a pic with my bow .

Got a 7 point this morning. Got some pics right before I started cleaning him thankfully. When I hit his neck with my hatchet both horns fell off!

I cut his head off before I hang him. When I pulled him off the tailgate it might have broke them loose. Got one of them plastic skull mounts ordered. Seemed easier than cutting off and skinning out skull.

Got my plastic skull in. Watched a YouTube video by DIY sportsman on how to assemble and done. No smell, no mess. It looks decent.

Got a doe this evening. Probably my quickest hunt ever. In the tree 15 minutes max. Sometimes if you keep hunting things just go your way. The snow was really nice for tracking.

Well, Thursday was my last hunt for the season. No deer for me this season. Wish I could have added more points to the team. The hogs and coyotes had better look out now.
