Out for the evening, have seen a lot of squirrels but no deer

3 does and about 25-30 pigs here so far. Hoping to catch this 8 point coming into the corner of this green field around dark. He’s been fairly consistent so I’ll cross my fingers.

Killed a copper head on the way in, just about stepped on him. Be careful, this is the time of year they like to be out

Loaded up and getting ready to head out tomorrow. Hunting the morning and then going to scout the middle of the day and hunt the evening.

Congratulations deputy dog! I’m back home now. I’ll shoot my bow and get things ready tomorrow. Planning to get out Tuesday for my first hunt of the season.

Saw one of my target bucks yesterday evening at last light. It just didn’t work out. And I’ve only seen two does so far. Only one was in range, but no shot. I have a few more days to hunt. I go back to the boat next Thursday but I’ll be back most of December.

I’m planning to sit all day tomorrow. A co worker of mine is wanting some deer meat so another doe may be in trouble if she blows at me. Rain kept me inside today but anything short of a lightning storm won’t keep me home tomorrow.

Good luck! Mrs. Tug and I are doing a project in the morning but I’ll be out for the afternoon/evening. All day Friday and Saturday morning. We are having a grandson‘s birthday party Saturday afternoon.

In the stand today, had a button buck come within 50 yards and a buck chasing a doe but couldn’t tell what size he was.
