Stolen Guns

I had about 15 guns stolen in 1988 and every year the sheriff's office sends papers with their serial numbers and asks if they are still missing so they don't drop them from their computer data base. Could we have a "Stolen Guns" forum where people could list descriptions and serial numbers of stolen guns? I would sure like to get my dad's old Marlin 336 back. I've been looking at gun shows for my missing guns for 20 years. What do you think about a "Stolen Guns" forum? :head:

If it only helped one person it would be worth it.

I'm not sure whether we'll do another forum on it or not. I'll run it by FB and Pat for input. The problem sometimes that you get so many forums and sub-forums that the board just gets more and more cluttered.

Another option that we might look at is a "Sticky" in the Guns Forum.

Sounds great to me. I have no patience for liars, thieves and people that take advantage of the very young and very old.

I was just wondering, were these guns not locked up in a safe or anything?
Remington 10-22 ?:head:
I was just thinking the same thing... never heard of one.

I'll bet that's Ruger 10-22. Ruger, Remington, it all runs together when you're typing fast.
I moved this over into Flint's forum and will Sticky it. Never know when this info might come in handy.
