Alright guys, I need opinions for a scope for a 22 magnum and another for a 17 HMR NEF rifle. Looks like my hunting will be confined to squirrels(Due to $) this year so I guess I'll go ahead and scope these two and try to make the best of it.
If you can spring for a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 (maybe $50-80) it'll be the last scope you'll have to put on either gun. Great scope for the money, and I wouldn't put anything cheaper (or more expensive) on my squirrel gun.
So how come you aren't hunting deer this year? If you've got a rifle, ammo and some camo already I bet there's plenty of good public land to hunt within an hour's drive of you.
Ill hunt some but the lease I was in the past few years is out. I'm gonna hunt some public land and do some other things, trying my hand at some trapping for example. I may go the bushnell route. Thanks for the replies.
