I am having a disagreement, I have always been told the bushes you see early in the year with the green leaves and purple berries were called "French Mulberry" bushes, the deer will eat the leaves and the stalks but dont touch the berries, I was corrected as these are called Sweet Berries???? Does anyone know what they are REALLY called, I know 1 thing the deer love em! Except the berries

You ought to skin out an old coon thats been eatin' on them. Looks like his insides are all glowing purple! I've seen it twice and those berries are all I could think of that would do that. Pretty creepy.
