Saturday morning despite the clouds and warm weather temps two buddies and me decided to head out and try for ducks.

We hunted Jaron's (guy with the thick beard in the pic) family land in a hole, never before hunted out in his woods where water was standing.

We had some fast shooting right after light and got all 9 of our ducks then. 8 mallards and a woody.

I thought, however, that I might brag on myself and let you all know that I shot my first triple. 3 mallards floated in and boom, splash, boom, splash, boom, splash!

We were all somewhat impressed...

Chris (the other guy) decided to hang up his hat and quit duck hunting because, "now he'd seen it all."

Some pics...
