Anyone use the Hunter Safety System vest either the Pro series or the treestalker. Any opinions I would appreciate.

I use the pro, really like it, easy on, easy off.
pro series. i use it religously. i refuse to get in a stand without it, and after just a little use, it becomes far more of a habit than a hassle. i can remember talking with guys not too terribly long ago about these and they just werent sure of them, but after a little use, they too swear by them. if you are going to deer hunt out of a stand, these are by far one of the best investments you can make. for you yes, but also for your loved ones
You tell 'em Buck, mine is locked and loaded and I will be sweatin it out a week from tommorow.
How much do these harnesses cost? I'm in the market for one.
dang right, you KNOW im a believer. from what i saw this weekend, you better have your turkey boots on, bug tamer along with some ole double cell action! but.... there will be no kill, if no go!

BPS has them on sale for $59 for the stalker up to $129. Those of you that have the pro series does the mesh get caught on the tree bark. I would like this for hot weather hunting but the mesh has me concerned. Another thing is the tree tether have plenty of lenght to move and shoot with a bow in all directions? Thanks
as for the mesh, id say a little bit. not really bad enough to justify either a)the hot model or b) not wearing one at all. as far as the tether goes, me personally, i have no problem none whatsoever with the length of it. im 5'10" and seems like as a general rule i tie on at eye level or maybe just a tad lower and have no problems. again, it seems like it took just a tad of getting used too, but will become second nature (at least it did for me) a few times in the stand mimicking different shots and angles and directions you should have no problem
I have the pro that I have used for two years that I will sell. I don't like it.
I got the tree stalker. You better get one mine was on backorder. So far I love it.

I can show you over a dozen on store shelves within 30 minutes of Fayetville. They are still out there.
I have the tree stalker, very comfortable and easy to put on in the dark.
I've got the original one and I love it. I never go without it plus it reversable for gun season

Why dont you like it?
I just bought the treestalker from BPS also, I haven't used it any yet but it seems a little heavy. I didn't like the fact that it didn't come with a linesman strap either.
Nothing here but the S.O.P harness. I can wear it over my long johns in cold weather and add or remove layers without unhooking from the tree. Vests just don't seem as practical to me.

I have the HSS Pro, I wear it under my Scentlok to cover the big clankin' buckles but feel MUCH safer and comfortable in it than any one I have ever owned.

Too big, too hot, and too heavy. I understand the heavy part is my fault because I put too much stuff in it. It is fine if you hunt 3-4 hours at a time but when you sit all day the weight is really uncomfortable. I have the mesh version and it is still hot in October.
