Well so far the resident season has gone pretty well for us. Opening morning we had a good hunt in a field but no one thought to bring a camera. We have learned to bring one since then. Here's a few pictures of what we've gotten into so far.

Here's one from Tuesday evenings very wet and windy hunt. 9 birds, 1 band.

This mornings hunt from a field. 4 man limit in about 40 minutes. 20 birds 10 leg bands. This field got hunted Monday morning but it didn't seem to affect the birds we had. Most of our shots were inside 30 yards, feet down in the decoys.

Hard to see but these are the banded birds from the group.

What does resident season mean?

i was about to say...they band a bunch on beaver fork lake in conway. Them geese never leave the lake....its nothing to see 200 geese and 100 of em be banded...or more im gonna say they were problably banded close to where they shot em
