Refurbished Glocks

I am in the market for a pistol. I have never owned one and I don't know much about them either, but I am learning. I was talking to a fella the other day that said you could buy refurbished Glocks. He said they even have the Glock warrenty. Has anyone ever bought one of these or know where I could get one?

You might be able to find refurbs in pawn shops or possibly gun shops. If you buy a used Glock, you can call them and if it is due for an upgrade, it will only cost you the price of shipping. They will completely rebuild and refinish it and send it back to you.

Never owned a Glock, do you have any? Are they worth the extra money?

Your missing a couple out of the set ain't ya.
I purchased a Re-Ferbed Glock model 22 in 40 S&W at Ozark Armory (Springdale) a few years ago. It's a great piece, but I prefer the Sig P22- series. For a while you could get the Sig police trade in's for under $400.00. I picked up a P226 9mm and it's awesome.

Dang....Mr. C. and i thought i was a big Glock fan. I plan on my stash of Glocks looking like that one day.
Mr. C,

What is this re-furb process? I have an older model 21. It does not have the accesory rail will a "re-furb" bring this old side iron up to current standards?

What about triggers? Mine has a custom lighter trigger installed. I would hate to lose this feature.

Hard to beleive that you can wear a glock out, I thought they were indestructible!!!

Thanks,

They won't change the frame to the newer finger grooved and railed frame, but will go through the internals and upgrade everything. If you have non-factory parts, they will be removed, too. I don't know if they would be returned or not.
Guess I will keep what I have and buy another one to update my inventory!

Love my Glock, can't afford to shoot it as often as I would like (need to start reloading), but it has never let me down.

Thanks for the information!
