Rain In Ouachita National Forest

How will the storms and even higher running creeks and rivers affect the turkey hunting this weekend? I expect the high flats and ridges we hunt above all these flooding areas to be good. Are there any roads closed in the National Forest around Winona? I figure the road below the spillway will be flooded. Any reports? Would these be considered turkeys fleeing from a flood??

Jackson Creek bridge on Weyerhauser 24000 will have too much water to be safe crossing it. It's been about 2' for over a week that I know of.
The high water should consolidate the turkeys...and the turkey hunters. Get ready to meet even more folks on opening day!
The hill areas will have tons of folks this weekend. All the bottom land hunters are headed up too. The creeks and rivers will make it very hard to hear turkeys.
