Im thinkin of buying the exact same setup at tax time .how do you like it?/ does the scope take some getting used to since it doesnt have a dot or xhair in the ring?? thats my only concern out there at 4-500 yrds? I love the guns

I like the gun/combo alot! Not hard to get use to reticules even my 13 yes old son was able to shoot a one inch group from bench at 100 yards. He he had never been exposed to sights other than cross hairs. I used peep sites on my military issued M16 so it kinda felt normal to me. I'm totally in tune with the circles. I have not shot it beyond 200 yards but the first opportunity I get I will. I'm convinced that I will be fine well beyond that.

The trigger is the main issue with the R15 just rough feeling. I just ordered a two stage trigger for it that I'm putting in this weekend. Even with the stock trigger I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Good luck with getting one. Gander Mountain has them one sale for 899. That is a good deal!

  18. Sweet set up and yote. Is it a Rem? I'm in the area (jud). We need to hook up and role some dogs.

Yes it is a Remington R15. I live in Searcy. What do you hunt with and where do you hunt mostly?
