I did it growing up but for some reason I do not think it's legal now or then. Those culverts and bridges are great places to trap though. One thing is everyone will know what your doing and you are apt to lose some supplies and catches...d2
Yes it is legal. Stay on public right of way and don't use snares. Here is the only reg on it:
Snares may not be set or maintained in a public road right-of-way or touch any fence when fully extended.
