Question--Since duck hunting is a sport does that mean that duck hunters are athletes????..lol

How is it a sport when ducks can't fight back? How about we let you run threw woods without a gun and shot you? Not much of a sporting chance if 1000 hunters shooting at you. Just saying LOL!
I would not go so far as saying duck hunters ar athletes, but where I hunt, the more athletic hunters kill more ducks. Some of those duck holes take effort to reach - walking a half a mile with waders on carrying a bag of decoys - through the water and brush - at night.

Tink... how's that different than you deer hunting? At least we're making noise and moving around. The ducks have way more of a fighting chance than any deer I've met.

Deer hunting no differnt! Hunting not a sport it's Hunting!
May not be a sport to some..but it is definitely a workout. I know I am a lot more tired after a duck hunt than after playing a round of golf, softball, basketball, etc. My wife always used to ask why I took a nap after I got home from a hunt. I took her and the kids last weekend...and she told me she now understands.
