Houdini, I hunt a lot in Cherokee county but it takes me 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bentonville to get to where I hunt. I am about 15-20 minutes south of you so ... are you using a helicopter?? Admittedly I do not speed but...?! Hey, I am going to Kansas Fri-Sat to hunt "fall" turkey and coyotes and scout a few places for the spring turkey season but a few counties above Cherokee and I expect it will take me 2 1/2 hours to get there! Steve/"Dermott"Shoot........I can make it there in like 35 minutes!!!!!!!!
So true. The Kansas population is down as well although they still have better numbers than we do. SE Kansas is overrun with out of state hutners now and it appears to me that about 80% of them are Arkansans which makes sense as that is the closest part of Kansas to Arkansas. I hunt in Kansas for turkeys and predators and have observed an absolute declne in numbers over the last 5 years. The public huntng land is SEK is over hunted now. JMO, Steve/"Dermott"
