Why does everybody hate Pro Staffers ? They are people that like the company or companies that makes products they use and like . Why bash them ?

I don't hate them, but l'll take a stab.
1. They are always gonna pimp their products as being better than everyone else's. Hey, it's their job, but the opinion is certainly not unbiased.
2. Some come across as thinking they are better than others just because they got some free or discounted product and a shirt.
Notice I say some, not all.
I don't hate anyone, but unfortunately, a lot of duck hunters these days just hate everyone that's not in their "crew". Pretty sad if you ask me.
Reasonable I'm not a staffer for anyone . I'm not gonna hate someone for being on top I say good for them . Cause I'll keep down what I'm doing and they can keep doing what they are doing .
me and my dad are pro staff for a buncha companies related to bowhuntin and when we go to macks the pro staffers for duck huntin stuff are the cockiest people in the world. You know your lookin at a prostaffer when you see a guy with a avery hat fleece pull over wearing sunglasses "inside" with a lanyard that says somthin about ducks huge SUV with decals all over it and when you go to the break room to eat lunch they're all sittin together talkin about how they wore em out in missouri yesterday. Oh and if your not a prostaffer related to duck huntin they wont even give you the time of day. The nicest guy i've ever dealt with was john stephens he actually gave me his chair so i wouldnt have to stand to eat lunch good guy. Oh and they blow duck calls at the motel at 5 in the mornin thats most of the pro staffers not all of them

prostaff or just pro never makes me much different ? Just never been star struck i guess, but it does rub me the wrong way if people with decals carry themselves in an arrogant manner . I will never be impressed with the companies or the number of companies you represent or their products if you are unapproachable or down right rude. The way i see it , we all put our socks and pants on the same no one is better than me or anyone else and we should treat each other like we want to be treated . If you show interest in your customer they will be interested in you , spend more time listening than blowing your own horn , it is NEVER impressive.
To me, a PS isn't about how you look or act. You should be there to test and try new products and see if they are field worthy. You gain the respect needed when you support a good product that is what's advertised. Ps'ers nowaday's are so fer removed from the actual tried and true pro-stafer's that it's and insult to the Fred Bears, Bill Dances and others that have gained the respect from the majority due to good product feedback. Stop and think about it, when was the last time you seen a write-up or article slamming a product. For me, give me the brass tacks of the situation. I can promise an objective opinion will gain the support from the buyer's , as opposed, to the next greatest thing.
A friendly and openly helpful pro staff member is invaluable to the companies they represent, likewise a rude or arrogant staff member a toxic element that can ruin a company's image. That's basic marketing.
I would love to chat with staffers in the bass fishing, waterfowl, and deer hunting fields, they are the experts and im not. Im always looking to learn something.
I have dealt with pro staff with a company before. Most are good people just doing what they love... But there are a few that are idiots!!!
Pro staffers are NOT experts we're just people that got lucky and get to represent somthin we love doin I learn tons more info from other bowhunters at shows than people learn from me or my dad. The old man thats buyin the arows im cutting that has killed WAAAAAAAY more deer or ducks than me is the expert not me. All we're doin is helpin him out because he doesnt own a bow press or somthin.
I don't understand the question? :head:
Is there a TV show about hating pro staffers or something?

In most cases I would say a member of a Pro Staff would be considered an expert, hence the word "Pro".

no I saw some you tube posts and everyone of them bash staffers so out of curiousness I asked . Personally I think a Staffer is a expert of the products they represent not of hunting . A Pro Staffer is a Customer Service person in the field that can answer questions about a product and help you with it . In other words a representative of a company to sale you the products they know . If they are rude they do nothing more than

i agree . but they also need to outline "STAFF" , to me a staff member is someone that is part of a company . that person should also give feedback off the product to the maker and help make that product better . in todays world people think a pro staffer is someone that gets free stuff just because they say "I USE THIS PRODUCT" . a pro staffer should use the product and use it well , also should be teachers and mentors to others regardless if kids or adults . pro staffer should be to reserch and help develop the product they are representing .

People need to stop hanging around sporting goods stores for the sake of being cool if they don't want to see the professional stock car racing side of hunting........Macks in particular

The only good thing that could come out of come out of that is the young lady manager chick lets you look down her shirt........

The word "PRO" in pro staff is short for Promotional, I am on staff for a certain call company that is new, the guy makes really good looking calls and they sound great, on top of that he is a great guy. So with him being new to the game of call making I am trying to help get the word out about his calls by PROmoting them. Doesnt mean I am a proffesional caller.

Sounds like she may be a "pro" too! I may need to go see her if the price is right.

Bc Missouri department of conservation knows how to manage waterfowl areas is why prostaffers and non-prostaffers alike are wearing them out in Missouri.
I guess now im totally confused, which happens quite often. All these years I assumed a pro staffer was an expert in their field or at the very least an expert with a given product.
If these guys are not experts and only for promotional purposes, wouldn't it make more sense to use smoking hot blondes in camo bikinis as pro staffers? Me personally, if the pro staffer has no expertise to offer the potential customer at least show me a little booty. Ill stand in line to buy a duck call from her.

dead on sea dawg......products are given to the guys to wear and use in the field....now mostly you either have connections or are dang good at it to be asked to be a pro staffer
